The Last Hour drew near, and the Moon split ascender.
The deputation of Muhammad as the last Messenger and Prophet is the sign of the Last Day. During the period of Messenger Muhammad, even though the Moon was shown as split asunder in two parts, one in the east and the other in the west, no one was ready to believe because of it. This Surath also warns that before the happening of Doomsday, the Moon will be split asunder again. But it is told in verses 10: 100-101 that the people who are not ready to become believers with Adhikr will never believe, even though they happen to see any sign. It is told in verse 6: 111 that even though the parents of the Arabic Qur’an reading Fujjar who have died earlier come back and speak to them, they will never become believers.
